Historical, locally known. Even by people from out of town. Very friendly staff, they are prompt! Excellent service! Super nostalgic you have to check it out! Excellent breakfast and brunch. Lunch whichever! Everything is good here. The chicken fried steak is massive! There cinnamon roll It's massive! Just one. It's as big as the plate literally, and I said plate, we're not talking about a little saucer. They usually sell out. I would suggest getting there early I don't care when it is it doesn't have to be a holiday. That's how good this place is and how popular they are. Or around lunch time which you can still get breakfast. Only place we have been to out of hundreds being native Texans and all of the places we've been countrywide. I would say. One of the only places that comes close to rivaling Bluebonnet is Ginger Brown's in Lake Worth, TX. 30 minutes from here. One of the best both of them! Local Staples for decades!

The sticky buns are huge and the best I’ve ever had. Chicken and waffles are both cooked to perfection— the waffle doesn’t fall apart in the syrup — its thick. My daughter loved the I love lucy atmosphere. Had to get a sticky buns to go

Me and my boyfriend are alternative, so coming here was a gamble but everybody was so nice! Walking in we were immediately welcomed by Nora who was the sweetest ever, I could tell she cared about her customers and even saw her noticing regulars. The portions are HUGE. It was a special event for us so we wanted to spend a little, but for the sizes the prices were worth it! Two full breakfast plates that we had to take in to-go boxes after, and their giant cinnamon roll (which i heavily underestimated the size) was delicious both warm and as leftovers. I wish I had taken pictures but we had already dug in before we even thought of it. Will definitely come back when I need a filling meal for the morning, and they have I Love Lucy events as well!

Classic Texas chicken fried steak with gravy, eggs over easy, and hash browns plus biscuits. Server Yarene was wonderful. Good, strong tasty coffee. And who could leave without a piece of coconut meringue pie? Thanks for the pie tip, Yarene!! 🥰 One of the best reasons to drive 281 through Texas!

The amount of nostalgia, holy hell. Coke and I love lucy memorabilia and antiques COVER the walls. There's something to check out the entire time. And the food, just mouth watering. Huge portions and full of flavor, it was all incredible. And the staff is so sweet. An amazing diner, will definitely come back

My father grew up in the 50s/60s and most of the time when we’d go out to eat as a kid, he had to find a classic diner. This place would be right up his alley, and the atmosphere was like a pleasant trip down memory lane. The service is extremely friendly — they make you feel like family. The food is incredible, and the prices are the best I have seen in the area. If you happen to be in this area around breakfast or lunch, stop by — you will be glad you did!

One of the best breakfast spots in DFW, hidden in Haltom City! Great food, great service and a cool collection of I Love Lucy and Coca Cola decorations. Highly recommend the Sticky Bun! It’s “Texas Sized” and big enough to share with the entire table. You will not be disappointed!
